About The Event
In this seminar we will study clinical and theoretical writing on how to manage and learn from the inevitable feelings of helplessness and confusion that arise in psychotherapeutic work. These arose particularly acutely in the COVID pandemic. Making good use of such crises are key to linking us, parents and therapists, with our patients, offering opportunities for learning and growth all around. Readings by Ghent, Bion, Winnicott and others will enhance the learning experience in this class.
